Notice - Oppose SB 135

Louisiana HBPA Members:
The current Louisiana State Legislature is in session and an important bill, SB 135 by Senator Peacock, will be considered by the Senate Judiciary B Committee on Tuesday May 5, 2015. SB 135 will reduce the required race dates at Louisiana Downs by half. It is important that we contact members of this committee to express that we DO NOT want them to vote for this bill. Please contact the offices of Senators Morrell, Johns, Chabert, LaFleur, Peterson, and Smith to let them know we are opposed to Senate Bill 135. Attached is a list with the office numbers for these Senators.
