Attention Horsemen at Louisiana Downs, Delta Downs, and Evangeline Downs:

From the LSRC,

For horses that are on the Vets List and need a work prior to entry, the State Vets will be available at all 3 Louisiana Tracks on Saturday, May 30, 2020 between 7AM and 10AM.

Call the Commission office at the track prior to Saturday to schedule the work.

You will need to bring your horse to the receiving barn.

Attention Horsemen at Evangeline Downs:

Training as per Boyd Management:

Starting Saturday, May 16, 2020 the track will resume normal training schedule open Monday thru Saturday 6 AM to 10 AM (break 8 AM to 8:30 AM).

The gates will be up starting Saturday May 16, 2020 from 7 AM to 10 AM until further notice.

Normal gate schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday.

Trainers stabled off the grounds will be allowed to ship in to train starting Saturday, May 16, 2020.

Any changes to this schedule will be announced and posted.

Per Delta Downs Management – Training will remain through Saturday, May 16, 2020 as below.

Training Schedule:
Wednesday 7AM to 10AM – No Break
Friday 7AM to 10AM – No Break
Saturday 7AM to 10AM – No Break, Clocker

Starting on Monday, May 18, 2020 through May 23 the track will be open 6 AM to 10 AM (break from 8AM to 8:30AM).

The gates will be up starting Tuesday, May 19, 2020 through May 23 from 7 AM to 10 AM.

Louisiana Downs is excited to announce the opening of our backstretch on Wednesday, May 6th. This is only for Horsemen who have been allocated stalls for the 2020 Thoroughbred season. Before making any shipping arrangements, you MUST contact Natalie Moses @ 318-820-8324. Ship-in hours will be from 11am – 5pm. You will only be allowed to use the stalls that have been assigned to you, No Exceptions. We also ask that Quarter Horse Trainer’s that remain at Louisiana Downs begin to make shipping arrangements for their next location. We encourage everyone to continue social-distancing protocols.
