NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS
We have been informed by representatives of Louisiana Downs and Evangeline Downs that HISA will visit the tracks later this week and will be handing out warning notices to Owners, Trainers, and Jockeys that have not registered. This warning will be that unregistered covered persons will be fined beginning two days after receiving this warning.

The Horse Racing Integrity and Safety Act (HISA) was enacted in 2020 and is current Federal Law. As a result, it can be fully enforced by the Federal Authorities, including but not limited to, US Marshalls, US Attorney’s and even the US National Guard, if necessary.
