The Louisiana State Racing Commission has instituted emergency rules for Controlled Therapeutic Medications effective June 8,2024. 

The rules amend the existing Controlled Therapeutic Medication Schedule for Horses – Version 4.1 as published by the Association of Racing Commissioners International, Inc. 

Unless specifically amended by the listed emergency rule, all other existing rules in Version 4.1 are continued to be in effect.

The Gentilly Office will be closed on Tuesday February 13th for Mardi Gras and will reopen on Wednesday February 14th. 

The Fair Grounds field office will be open for racing 504-943-0772.

For Bookkeeper, the Fair Grounds Bookkeeper (504-948-1254) will be open for racing. 

If you have an emergency regarding Bookkeeper, call Ed Fenasci at 504-812-8771 or Kristie Piglia at 504-919-3468. 

If you have an emergency regarding the Medical Program, call Murray Woodward at 504-669-2254
